Welcome to Buzztrip

Buzztrip is a group trip planning tool created by Queen Bee Travel Buds. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Buzztrip Is (and Isn't)

Buzztrip is a planning and coordination tool. It helps groups decide where to go, track costs, communicate, and share memories. It is not a travel booking engine, a financial institution, or a payment processor.

Payments are tracking-only. Buzztrip does not collect, process, or hold any money. When group members mark their share as "paid," it is a record-keeping convenience — the actual payment happens outside the app (Zelle, cash, invoice, etc.). Queen Bee Travel Buds and Buzztrip bear no responsibility for money exchanged between group members.

Split the Honey is tracking-only too. The shared costs, balances, and "who owes who" amounts are a calculator based on what members enter. Please double-check them before paying anyone.

Helper Bee (AI Features)

Scanned itineraries and destination tips are created by artificial intelligence (AI) and can be wrong. Always double-check important details with the business, your travel agent, or official sources.

Location Sharing & Safety Tools

Share My Location, I'm here pins, the Hive Map, Back Safe check-ins, and activity reminders are convenience features. Locations can be approximate or delayed and only update while the app is open. Maps, addresses, and directions may be inaccurate. These tools are not a tracking, monitoring, or emergency service. Only share your location with people you trust, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page.

Acceptable Use

Please use Buzztrip for its intended purpose: planning trips and having fun with your group. You agree not to:

Use the app for anything illegal or harmful.
Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
Upload malicious files, spam, or inappropriate content.
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the app's infrastructure.
Share someone else's location, photos, or voice without their permission.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (messages, photos, testimonials). By posting content in a shared group, you grant other group members the ability to view it. Testimonials you submit may be featured on our website with your first name, unless you request otherwise. When you paste links or captions from social media (for example, TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube), only share content you are allowed to share; that content still belongs to its creator.

Limitation of Liability

Buzztrip is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

Trip outcomes, cancellations, or travel disruptions.
Financial disputes between group members.
Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Actions taken by third-party services linked from the app (e.g. Viator tour bookings, Uber rides, Walmart, Uber Eats, Instacart, or Amazon orders).
Errors in AI-generated content, maps, weather, or location information.

Third-Party Links & Affiliate Disclosure

Buttons for Uber, Google Maps, Walmart, Uber Eats, Instacart, Amazon, Viator, and other services open those companies' own sites or apps, and their terms and prices apply. Some links are affiliate links, which means Buzztrip may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Emergency Alerts

The Hive Emergency Alert feature sends a notification to a Queen Bee Travel Buds agent. This is a convenience feature, not an emergency service. For life-threatening emergencies, always call local emergency services (911 in the US) first.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA.
